Our dining experience at Barrique Port was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the welcoming atmosphere and the impeccable service. The setting is perfect for a relaxing meal, especially after arriving from the nearby ferry terminal. Dimitris, our waiter, was an excellent host—entertaining, informative, and genuinely friendly.
The menu at Barrique Port offered a variety of dishes, but we were particularly impressed by the steaks. Each steak, whether it was the ribeye or the Kobe tender, was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the variety of salts provided enhanced the taste beautifully. The portions were generous, and the quality of the meat was top-notch. It was easily some of the best steak we have ever had, comparable to high-end steak restaurants worldwide.
In addition to the excellent steaks, the wine selection was impressive. Giorgos, the sommelier, recommended a Greek red wine that paired perfectly with our meal. The wine was served at the ideal temperature and allowed to breathe in a carafe, bringing out its full aroma and flavor.
The overall ambiance of Barrique Port added to our enjoyment. The decor is elegant, and the atmosphere is both friendly and relaxing. The staff’s attention to detail and their commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience were evident throughout our visit.
To top off the evening, we were treated to complimentary limoncello, which was a perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
